Antonio G. Agueros, age 78, of San Antonio, died Monday, January 28, 2002. Mr. Agueros served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from Kelly Air Force Base after 30 years of service and was a member of Veterans Foreign Wars Post 9186 and American Legion Post # 0485. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alice Herrera and grandson Fidencio Herrera VI. Survivors: wife, Victoria R. Agueros; sons, Antonio R. Agueros, Jr., Michael R. Agueros and wife Kazuko I, and daughters, Carol and Mary Helen Agueros; sister, Mickey Luna; grandchildren, Monica, Rene and Marc Herrera, Leticia Lopez and Antonio S. Agueros III; and 4 great-grand children, Alejandro, Damian, Lydia and Nicholas.
