We will be missing you again for a third Christmas and Thanksgiving since you left us. We got together with the other Gold Star moms and exchanged stories. Our story was the Hot Springs story where the hotel lights went off and you all told the hotel next door that OUr hotel send you in for a free dinner! and when asked if you got that free dinner the answer was NO.!

Mijo how I love you and miss you, there is not a day that goes by that my heart hurts so much and tears come pouring out. You were the best son a father could ask for and we were connected in so many ways. I know God has you in the highest mansion because of the love and care you lavished on us and for down trodden and the less fortunate persons. I wii be hurting for you till we meet in heaven.

Dear Melchor Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom.

His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

I did not know Tony well, he just lived across the street from me in Kindsbach, but nonetheless I find it appropriate to express my disbelief in his passing. When Tony's landlord told me that he had died while on home-leave, I was at first dismayed but soon recalled the old adage, only the good die young. With Tony's tranquil disposition, he certainly did strike me as one of the good ones. Requiescat in pace Antonio.

Who else will remind me about how bad American cars are. Tony, you had a charisma that nobody else had; you could have said dirty jokes to the pope and he would have laughed. Won't forget you.
