Armando Garza Arriaga

Armando Garza Arriaga, Sr., age 82, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 13, 1938 in San Antonio, TX to his parents, Jose G. Arriaga and Maria Garza Arriaga. Armado served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 ~ 1959 on the USS Saratoga. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria; his beloved wife, Alma A. Arriaga; his daughter, Alma Alicia Arriaga; his son Antonio Arriaga; and his brothers, Roger Arriaga, Sr., Joe Arriaga and Gilbert Arriaga. Armando is survived by his children, Armando Arriaga, Jr., Alberto Arriaga (Norah), and Anna Maria Arriaga; and his grandchildren, Christopher Gill, Michael Gill, Andrea Arriaga, and Angeline Nichole Arriaga. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
