Arnulfo Cardenas, Jr., age 59, of San Antonio, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2002. During his distinguished 20-year military career in the US Air Force, he served in Vietnam. He retired in 1978 in Langley, Virginia. He found his way back to San Antonio a few years later to start a new career as a manager for Boeing Aerospace San Antonio. His father, Arnulfo G. Cardenas, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Linda Nourie Cardenas of San Antonio; children, Elizabeth Hirsch of Los Angeles, CA, Phillip Cardenas of Provo, UT, David Cardenas of San Antonio, Stephen Cardenas, Rachel Sparks, Claudine Cardenas and Catherine Cardenas, all of Boise, ID; 4 grandchildren; mother, Olga Diaz Cardenas; brothers, Pedro Cardenas of San Antonio, and Fred Cardenas of San Angelo, TX; sisters, Olga Vasquez of San Antonio, Beatrice Robles of Houston, and Letty Cantu of San Antonio.
