He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Woody and Sandra Robertson.
Aron leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of thirty-three years, Maria Robertson, and their two sons: his oldest son, Benjamin Robertson, and Benjamin’s wife, Anne Cantu-Robertson; and his youngest son, Brandon Robertson. Along with his brother Wesly Robertson, his wife Jackie Robertson, and their son Mason Robertson.
Aron was born and raised in Colorado, where he found his passion for hunting, fishing, camping, baseball, football (GO BRONCOS!), golf, and anything related to the great outdoors. After graduating from high school, he went on to join the United States Navy on July 11, 1990. Aron dedicated twenty-two years of honorable service as a Hospital Corpsman (SW/AW), retiring on July 31, 2012, at the rank of Chief Petty Officer (CPO). During his Naval career, Aron traveled the world, serving on six combat and humanitarian deployments aboard three separate ships; three deployments aboard USS Peleliu (LHA-5), one deployment aboard the USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), and twice aboard the USS Comstock (LSD 45).
Aron met his wife, Maria, after his first deployment in 1992, while visiting the family of his shipmate, Lonny, and his wife, Bernice, in Mexicali, Mexico. Aron was immediately smitten with Maria, and the two began a courtship which led to their marriage on February 13, 1993. During his time in the Navy, he and his family lived all over the world, including Guam and Japan. At the end of his long career, he and his family would put down roots in their new hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
Over the course of his career, he amassed many lifelong friends that he called "brothers & sisters". His absence on this earth will be felt by many for years to come. He never shied away from helping those in need, offering support, kind words, and mentorship to anyone who needed it. As a devoted son, he spent many of his later years in life caring for his parents as they got older. Aron was a selfless man who often sacrificed his own needs to help others.
Although Aron has left us in the physical world, his spirit will live for eternity beside our Father God in Heaven. We will cherish the memories we made with him throughout our lives together, and he will live on within our hearts forever.
