

Arthur LeRoy Caulk, fondly known as Art, a pillar of courage and selflessness whose remarkable life journey began on September 14, 1926, in Wadsworth, Ohio. Art's story came to a peaceful close on July 12, 2024, in Kerrville, Texas.
Upon completion of his Copley High School education, where he was a celebrated athlete, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Following his military service, he began working in accounting and data processing. Art always had a strong desire to be involved in law enforcement, which eventually led him to a 41+ year secondary career in law enforcement, where his dedication made a lasting impact on his community.
Art is survived by a loving family that includes his brother Jim Caulk, his sister Carole Peurifoy and their families; sons, Larry, Gary and Michael; grandsons, Eric and Travis; and great-grandchildren.
Art was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Teresita; son Robert; parents, Sarah Alice and Hubert Caulk; and brother, Richard Bruce.
Art's legacy of integrity and service will continue to inspire those who knew him.
