I have know Chipper sense school days in Falfurrias and being reconnected with such an inspiring person. Seeing you yesterday, brings all that joy that you gave us all through out the years more special. I will miss you dearly. Miss the Yancy calls. Miss all the happiness you'd always bring, your laughter, joking, even when you were feeling bad, you'd make us laugh. There is no end, just a new begining. I love you Chipper. God's blessing to you. God's blessings to all the Gillaspy family.

Dear, dear, Chipper too soon have you left us. I liked you the first day I saw you in Mrs. Dow's class. We had fun over the years in One-Act plays, movies at Miss Salinas' apartment, you were smart and fun to be with... My condolences and prayers for your family.

Uncle Chip, i dont know how to express how much of a difference you made in others lives. The hole that has been created by your passing could never be filled by anyone but you. You always brought light and laughter to where ever you were. You will be missed more than you will ever know, or could have thought possible. We all love and miss you so much. Mom, Grammy and Aunt Dinah, we all feel for the loss of your Son, and brother. Love, Willy

Dearest Chipper,
The shock of your death has left me breathless. I was a first
year teacher at Falfurrias High
School. You walked in to class,
and I could picture you in so many roles for our Drama Department. You were kind, hard-working, smart, and a very wonderful person. We are going to miss you so much. We will always love you!! We send our deepest sympathy to your sweet family.
