Arthur was born on December 5, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas, to parents, Felix and Jesusa Gonzales.
He graduated from Fox Tech High School, and was a National Guardsman during the Korean Conflict. Arthur proudly served 22 years as a Civil Servant, and he was a longtime member of Cornerstone Church.
He was preceded in death by, his daughter, Cindy Gonzales; sister, Eva Lopez; parents, Felix and Jesusa Gonzales.
Arthur is survived by his son, Rev. Arthur Joe Gonzales, Jr. and wife C.J. Gonzales; grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel, Joseph and Teresa; brother, Felix Gonzales; sisters, Ophelia Olson and Olivia Morin. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010, at Cornerstone Church, the Vada Hagee Chapel.
