Arthur served his country proudly in the Air Force as an enlisted man, and in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. He was actively involved in the evacuation of Saigon.
Arthur was a Golden Gloves City Champion for 2 years.
His love of his country was only exceeded by his love for his family. He was totally devoted to his family, friends, church, and community. He lived life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Emma Jimenez.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sylvia Jimenez; daughter, Jennifer De La Rosa; sons, 1st LT. Arthur Eugene Jimenez, US Army and M/N Mark Andrew Jimenez, USMMA; daughter, Robyn Gabriella Jimenez; grandson, Jonathan De La Rosa; sister, Mary Louise Carreon; brother, Roger R. Jimenez; sister, Gloria J. Caldbeck; brother, Edward G. Jimenez; sisters, Linda G. Ramirez and Lt. Col. Yolanda Jimenez, US Air Force; brother, Dr. Richard G. Jimenez; parents-in-law Victor Roy and Micaela Abundis; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Vallin; and brother-in-law, Roy Victor Abundis.
