Mr. Leyva was a World War II Veteran. He retired from Kelly AFB after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Leyva; parents; and sisters, Josephine Lutz and Dolores Gutierrez.
Survivors: daughters, Irma Trevino Martin, Veronica Luna Manuel, Rosalinda Correa Robert and Deanna Gonzales Al; grandchildren, Eugene Rocha Lacey, Antonio Rocha, Georgina Rodriguez, Jennifer Correa Urrutia Chris, Vanessa Correa, Robert Arthur Correa, and Cristina Gonzales; great grandchildren, Juliahna Rocha and Christina Urrutia; brother, Mike Leyva; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed.
