Arthur Carroll Reyna, 88, of San Antonio, Texas joined Our Lord on December 31, 2014. “Sonny” Reyna, son of Arturo Clemente Reyna and Carolina Maria Vale Reyna, husband of Frankie Guilbeau Reyna, passed away surrounded by his family. He is also survived by six children: sons, Arthur Jr. and wife Sylvia, Samuel, Frank, and Juan; and daughters, Mary and Laura Gil and husband Jesse, along with grandchildren, Anastasia Sawchak, Arthur Reyna, III, Adrian Reyna, Ian Gil, Mae Gil, Claude Gil, and Jay Gil. During his career, Sonny served our country in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and the Department of Defense. He loved music, cracking jokes, and spending time with his family. His quick wit and laughter will be greatly missed by all. A rosary will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 7 PM on January 9, 2015 and a funeral Mass will be held at San Fernando Cathedral at 9 AM on January 10, 2015, with private interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. His family is grateful to the staff of the Methodist Intensive Care Unit for their care of the entire family.
