He was born in San Antonio, Texas Nov 1, 1919. He was in the dry cleaning business all of his life and owned the Community Cleaners on Nogalitos St. for approximately 35 years until he retired. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Army during WWII, in the Pacific.
Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his loving wife Carmen; his parents, Eusebio and Anita Gabaldon Rodriguez; his brothers Eusebio, Alfred, and Henry Rodriguez and sister Helen Kerckhoff.
Surviving are his son, Arthur S. Rodriguez and wife, Norma of San Antonio; daughter, Carolyn Van de Kamer and husband, Michael of Vancouver, Canada; four grandchildren, Arthur James AJ Rodriguez and his wife Estelle, Michael G. Rodriguez, and Kyle Arthur Van de Kamer; and two great-grandchildren, Alexandra J. Rodriguez and Arthur J. Rodriguez and nephew Victor Kerckhoff and family; and niece, Sylvia Fullerton and family.
