Arthur O. Sanchez

Arthur O. Sanchez, age 90, passed away May 2, 2011. He was born on April 19, 1921 in Helotes, Texas to Celestino and Elena Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Sanchez. He is survived by his children, Richard Sanchez and Rose Marie, Leroy Sanchez and Elda, Dorothy Sanchez, Susan Sanchez; grandchildren, Mark and Lydia Sanchez, Sally Sanchez, Leroy James and Sharon Sanchez, Michael Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Christopher, Daniel, Marly, Lauren, Olivia, Evan and Ronan Sanchez; great-great granddaughters, Roxy and Mia; sister, Ella Dunford; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 10,2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Drive with Rev. Peter McKenna officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full Army Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Arthur may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
