Arthur George Vogt

Arthur George Vogt born on September 4, 1943 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2012 at the age of 68. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 67. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Vogt is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Socorro Vogt; brother, Gilbert Vogt, and mother-in-law, Julia Haygood. He is survived by his loving wife, Janis Vogt; children, Ralph Vogt (Lori), Roxanna Longoria (David), Raquel Vogt (Jim Mayfield), Rudolph Vogt (Jeannie), Robert Kramer (Jennifer J.J.), Sara Vogt, Jonathan Vogt, and Madeline Martinez; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; father-in-law, John Haygood; sister-in-law, Joan Villa (Scott); former wife, Ruth McCumber; sisters, Stella Arvizu, Elsie Pena, and Susie Vogt; brothers, Leroy, Ronnie, and Tony Vogt. Also, close friends, Kurt Mosel (Jean), Eric Mosel and Louis C. Mosel, Melvin Jandt (Andrea), John Robert (Chris), Charles Wolfe, Marty Ceballos, and Rick Johnson (Pat). Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service that same evening. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 12, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bennie Herrera officiating. Interment will follow in Hermann Sons Cemetery located on Aliann Road in Macdona.
