Arturo A. Adame of San Antonio passed away on September 29, 2010 at the age of 59. He was born in Kingsville, TX on September 25, 1951 to Amando and Olga Adame. Arturo served in the USAF, National Guard, Army Reserves and worked for the Corpus Christi Army Depot as a civilian aircraft mechanic. He also served in Desert Storm as a civilian worker and was in the Corpus Christi Veterans Band as part of the Color Guard. Arturo was preceded in death by his father, Amando Adame, his brothers, Amando Adame III and Eddie Adame, and his sister, Liza Ann Adame. Arturo is survived by his loving wife, Andrea G. Adame, his daughters, Liza Ann Adame-Contreras and husband Troy, of San Antonio, Celinda Adame of San Antonio, brothers, Alvaro J. Adame of San Antonio and George Adame (Becky) of Kingsville and a sister, Judy Garza-Gilbert of Kingsville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 4-9PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A Graveside service with military honors will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:30AM.
