Arturo G. Gonzalez, Sr., 84, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 in San Antonio. He was born in Marin, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on December 30, 1925 to Franco and Lucinda Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria A. Gonzalez; his children, Oralia Diazl, Esther Gerena, Arturo Gonzalez Jr., Ernesto Gonzalez and wife Rachel, Elba Nag and husband Abhijit, Fernando Gonzalez and wife Shirley, Reynaldo Gonzalez and wife Marlen, Hector Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez and Enrique Gonzalez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez; sister, Amelia Gonzalez and several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Fr. Mike Lenihan officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
