At last I can pay tribute to a very special friend. Arturo was my partner in making interior spaces beautiful, and always made "me" look good. We've done our fair share of crazy projects , and even kept our humor-gosh we'd laugh until tears! But Arturo was the true craftsman, brilliant in installing and "engineering" my crazy ideas-I would have never ever been credible without him. My family and I miss him dearly. Schnabel's will never ever be the same.

Dear Family of Arthur: 
My brother in law is Mid English so I have known Arthur from days long ago at the studio. I have also used Ron Walsh a decorator from Mildred English days as a decorator for years. For more years than I want to admit Arthur has helped hang a lot of pictures for me. We remodled our office last summer and I replaced most pictures and hung everything again. In August Arthur hung a lot of pictures for us and he finished up on November 5th. He was a joy to be around. Not only did he do a good job at what he did but you just had a good feeling after being around him. He was a good man and although over the years I might not see him for years it was always fun to see him again and let him hang a few more pictrues for me. I will miss him. Tom and Laurie Fitch

Arthur was recommended to us by his good friend Ron Walsh. He has been in our home several times to hang pictures. He did an outstanding job every time. He was such a gentleman and a very kind person. Arthur always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to be around. We were very sorry to learn of his death and extend our deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Arthur was a wonderful and gentle man. We had the privilege of knowing Arthur for at least 35 years. We extend our sympathy to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
