Arvin J Bowden was born on September 18, 1923 in Wichita Falls, TX and passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Majorie, and four siblings. He is survived by his son, Jay Dean Bowden, three siblings, two granddaughters, one step grandson, and two step great-grandchildren.
Arvin was a member of the Eisenhauer Road Baptist for over 40 years, and proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed a good game of GOLF, and was a member of the Masonic Frontier Lodge #766 in Alpine, TX for over 50 years.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church, 3950 Eisenhauer Rd., San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at a later date at Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon, TX.
