She was born on November 8, 1984 to Julia Anne Dunk and Dennis Albert Dunk in San Antonio, Texas. She spent her childhood dancing to Shania Twain and going on adventures with her family. As she grew older her love and talent for tumbling and cheerleading grew too. She was an impressive entertainer and was even asked to join the National Cheerleaders Association professional team at the age of 18.
Ashlee traded-in her pom poms to become a new type of cheerleader when her beautiful daughter, Ava Rose Davis, was born in 2004. When Ava was young, Ashlee enjoyed making elaborate bows and tutus for her, and baking the best sugar cookies with Ava as her taste-tester.
Her twin sons, Cooper and Connor Elliott, entered this world in 2009 and although she was apprehensive about getting a mini-van, the “Silver Bullet” took them on many family trips.
Ashlee was an avid fitness enthusiast, even competing and placing in multiple CrossFit competitions. She shared this passion with her sons and they could frequently be found outside working out, sweating, music blaring, with smiles on their faces.
She also had a keen eye for photography, setting up many themed shoots for her children, and using her skills to capture engagement photos, pregnancy announcements, bridal portraits, and holiday cards for many family members.
Her knack for hosting parties also brought wonderful memories to her friends and family. Laughter echoes in the minds of her guests who experienced her incredibly fun Minute-to-Win-It theme party, Halloween bashes, and her Christmas wreath decorating party. She adored Christmas and her decorations were awe-inspiring. Her attention to detail and making others feel welcomed in her home were unmatched. She was a fast-friend to new faces and an embodiment of the Christmas-spirit itself.
Her self-written online biography said it best: Big Heart, Long Lashes, Lululemon, and Lattes.
