Ashley Denise Campbell ("TeeTee") was a loving daughter, devoted sister, proud aunt, faithful friend, and compassionate woman whose life was marked by kindness, faith, and an unwavering love for her family. Born on August 6, 1984, in Abilene, Texas, to Mark and Iris Campbell, Ashley lived a life filled with learning and service to others.
As the daughter of a military family, Ashley had the opportunity to live in many places throughout the United States and abroad, including Texas, Italy, Kansas, Portugal, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and South Carolina. Although she called many places home throughout the years, Houston, Texas, became the place where she left her mark and built a life of her own.
Ashley attended Texas Southern University (TSU), where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She later continued her education at St. Thomas University, earning a Master's degree in Behavioral Counseling. Her passion for helping others was reflected in both her education and the way she lived her life.
A woman of faith, Ashley loved attending church and spending time with those she loved most. Nothing brought her greater joy than being with her family, especially her cherished niece, Ava. In her spare time, Ashley enjoyed reading, shopping, watching her favorite television shows with her mother, and making lasting memories with family and friends. Her warm spirit, thoughtful heart, and gentle presence will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
On Friday, July 17, 2026, Ashley entered into eternal rest in Houston, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, compassion, and treasured memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Winston Lee Burnett and Mary Elizabeth Burnett; her paternal grandmother, Mavis Oddman; her nephew, James Winston Campbell; and her cousins, Dwyane Brazzell Jr. and Clifton Jamal Burnett Jr.
Ashley leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Mark and Iris Campbell of San Antonio, Texas; her brother, Anthony Campbell, and his daughter, Ava Lee Campbell, of Houston, Texas; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by her love and kindness.
