

She was born to Gregory McEwen Sr. and Cynthia McEwen on September 15, 1985. Audri followed her passion for education and reading. After graduating from Texas A&M University, she worked to earn her dream position as a 2nd grade Humanities Subject Expert Teacher (SET), at BASIS Medical Center. Audri was enthusiastic about sports, travel, reading, blogging and family.
She is survived by her parents Gregory McEwen Sr. and Cynthia McEwen; siblings Adam Avila and wife Nina Arrambide-Avila; sister Ashley-Nicole Haywood and husband Brian Haywood; sister Amanda-Maureen McEwen; brother Gregory McEwen Jr. and wife Krystal McEwen; grandmother Victoria Avila as well as her pride and joy, nephews and niece, Teo, Brian II, Irie, Carlo, Kobe and Tua, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Fernando Avila Jr.; grandmother Rose McEwen; and aunts, Vanessa Aarad and Ramona McEwen.
There will be a viewing where you can pay respects to the family on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuaries West at 1710 W Loop 1604 N, San Antonio, TX 78251.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 7:00pm located at 6914 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240.
The family requests to consider Audris love of colors and refrain from wearing black.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Audri-Monique McEwen, can be made to Vision Works Camp Discovery.
