

Auralia moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas at a young age and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. She moved to San Antonio in November 1939 and resided there.
Auralia was a the former President of San Antonio Chapter, American Institute of Banking; Chairman of National Association of Bank Women; former member of Zonta Club and Pelof Club. She was active in many local civic organizations and was among the first women to be a bank officer in San Antonio. Auralia retired as Vice President of the National Bank of Ft. Sam Houston.
She was a very giving woman who loved to help many organizations. With an interest turned hobby in Texas History she served on the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
In honor of her husband, she gave ten framed replica flags representing all the flags that have flown over Texas to the McCreless Branch, San Antonio Library. Susie was a brilliant, fun-loving and caring friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Auralia was predeceased by husband, G. Sealie McCreless and parents, Mrs. Gladys Nelson and Mr. Guy W. Nelson.
