Aurora Martinez

Aurora lived a life of love and devotion to her family and friends. She and her husband, Rodolfo, were united in marriage for 62 years. She loved to spend time with family, friends, dance and travel, especially to the casinos. Aurora was the center of family celebrations. She was an example of strength and courage, when she battled and survived breast cancer.

Aurora is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Elida De La Cruz and is survived by her loving husband, Rodolfo T. Martinez; children: Rachel, Rebecca and husband, Daniel; Richard and wife, Veronica; grandchildren: Brian, Lauren, Alyssa, Megan and Natalie; siblings: Dolores, Carolina, Ernest, Estella, Susan and Yolanda; along with numerous other relatives. Aurora will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5th beginning at 6:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Porter Loring chapel on McCullough. On Thursday, August 6th, a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St. John's Way with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. III.
