He was preceded in death by his father, Ausencio Perez Sr. and a sister, Mary.
Ausencio is survived by his wife Martha M. Perez; son, Adrian I. Perez; step-son, Israel Erik Ochoa; mother, Maria Elena Perez; sisters, Janie, Olga, Norma, Angie, and Ginger; brothers, Joey and Oscar.
A graveside service for Ausencio will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209 with US Navy military honors.
