Axel James Mendoza

Axel was born on August 27, 1984, to parents Lucy Mendoza and Rudy Mendoza. He left us on May 11, 2023, at the age of 38.

Axel was a gifted and beloved hair stylist, entertaining his clients who came from all over the city to enjoy his artistry. When he wasn’t cutting hair, you could find Axel spending quality time with his son and daughter, family and friends. Truly an artistic, handsome, and loving man.

He enjoyed reading, exercising, and listening to music. His time with his children was most precious to him, he loved playing basketball with his son, cuddling his daughter and eating his mom’s tacos.

His family and friends will forever remember him for his witty personality and his charming presence. He leaves us with many beautiful memories that will never be forgotten; he will forever live on in our hearts and minds.

Axel is survived by his children, Axel and Azlynn Mendoza, parents, Lucy and Rudy Mendoza. His brothers and sisters Monica, Rudolpho, Roxanne, Luisa, Victoria, Eugene, John, and Veronica. He also leaves behind his many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law who had mutual deep love for one another. He was loved by all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents from both his maternal and paternal parents as well as aunts and uncles he dearly loved. May he rest peacefully, we will miss him dearly and look forward to the day we can see him again.
