Coleman graduated from Mrs. Bishop's elementary school. He went to Alamo Heights High School and graduated from TMI. He graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1958 and from the University of Texas Law School in 1961.
He was a member of several clubs in San Antonio and loved having a good time at all of them. He was very generous to several charities and to people too. His unique humor was enjoyed by all who knew him.
Coleman is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy W. Walker and his sister Libby Renick Smith.
