After a long and courageous struggle with multiple illnesses "Barb" Barbara Smith Adams of Schertz, TX passed away at the age of 71. She was born September 22, 1953 to Correll L. and Mary (Martin) Smith. She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and was a member of Louise Schuetze Lodge of the Sons of Herman. She was an avid reader and always had her nose in a book. She loved the coast , all kinds of music and simply adored cats. She was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School , class of 1971. She was a graduate of Texas A & M University and University of Louisiana. She retired from being an insurance claims adjuster, most recently at Urology Associates San Antonio. Retirement gave Barb time to pursue her hobby of making stained glass creations. She is survived by her sister Debra (Smith) Leary, several cousins and many friends. Services for Barb will be Thursday , February 6th, 2025. @ 1000 A.M. @ Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
