Barbara Caye Betts

Barbara Caye Betts; age 77, passed away after valiantly fighting many serious illnesses during her lifetime. She was the daughter of Richard Taylor and Marion Herpel Betts. A fifth-generation Texan; who dearly loved her state and her Longhorn's.

A graduate of Alamo Heights and the University of Texas; she was a career woman. She began retailing with Joske's of Texas, continuing in Florida and Ohio before returning to San Antonio where she co-owned Robinson's Ladies Stores. Later, she became a Commercial Realtor associated with D.B. Harrell Realty.

She is survived by two brothers, Richard T. Betts, Jr. of Telluride, Co. Howard T. Betts and wife Peggy of San Antonio; a niece Barbara Brooke Betts; nephews Mark W. Betts, Dr. Jack H. Betts, and Robert H. Betts; two great nieces; and long- time friends Anne Mulligan and Janet Airheart along with numerous other friends who loved her dearly.

For years, Barbara was cared for by three dedicated ladies: Ana Morteo, Heidi Pierre, and Linda Martinez. We stand in awe of their faithfulness, reliability, and loving care. May Barbara now rest in peace, without pain, with God.

Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Friday April 14th at 2pm. No flowers, please. In lieu, contributions to your favorite charity.
