Barbara Jane Jaeckle Griffin, 98, passed away on April 26, 2021 in San Antonio. Born on April 6, 1923 in San Antonio to Jane Ann Richter and Joseph Charles Jaeckle. She worked in the Grand Lodge of Hermann Sons for many years. Mrs. Griffin’s pastime included bowling and bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Fletcher Griffin, Sr. who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her children, Patricia Bakke and her husband, John E. Bakke III, Barbara (Rody) Mockert and her husband, Robert Earl Mockert, Sr., Cathy Cheslock, and Roland Griffin, Jr.; sister, Nell Ann (Pinky) Kennedy and her husband, Jim Kennedy; sister-in-law, Sara Darleen Jaeckle; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
