Barbara Biediger Groff-Haby

She was born January 10, 1945, to the late Olivia Echtle and Bernard J. Biediger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence P. Groff and three children: Karen Sue, Darren James, and Roy Lee Groff.

She is survived by her husband, Emmett Haby. She is also survived by her six children and spouses: Pete E. Groff Tammy, Laurie A. Rothman, Gary W. Groff Jan, Carl R. Groff, Chris A. Groff fiance Jana Borie, and Royce A. Groff fiance Maria Ayon. In addition, she is survived by her thirteen grandchildren: Cody and Casey Groff, Lauren and Staci Rothman, Kaitlyn Scruggs Matt, Kelly, John, and Matthew Groff, Michael and Brandon Groff, Taylor Colunga, and Jewel and Summer Borie. Her six brothers and spouses: Melvin Biediger Mary Jo, Patrick Biediger Janet, Claude Biediger Lynette, Dennis Biediger Karen, Wayne Biediger, Vincent Biediger Carolyn, brother-in-law, Gerald Groff Bonnie, and sister-in-law, Valeria Anderson Kenneth and various nieces and nephews.

She was devoted to her family and enjoyed planning and hosting family gatherings. Barbara was an active member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister, member of the Women's Guild, and member of the Young at Heart Club. She supported the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Mobile Loaves and Fishes, and Habitat for Humanity. Barbara made the best cinnamon rolls and loved to spend time in her flower-gardens.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the STOH START Center, especially Dr. Drengler, and nurses Gail, Monica, and Rachel, and Dr. A. Patnik and nurses Carolyn and Amy. Family also wishes to express their appreciation to nurse, Tracie and the Odyssey Hospice staff.

Family will receive friends and family from 6 to 7 PM Thursday at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church.
