Barbara Jean Nelson

Barbara was a devoted member of Concordia Lutheran Church for the past 55 years, where she enjoyed serving as a greeter with her husband at her side for over 20 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dewayne Ray Doc Nelson, Sr.; sons, Dewayne Ray D.R. Nelson, Jr. and family in Dallas, Michael Ted Theodore Nelson and family in Houston; daughter, Cheryl Diane Pete Combs and family in San Antonio; two sisters and a brother and their families.
