Barbara was an elementary school teacher in San Antonio for 40 years until her retirement. She, like her husband Alan, loved animals, particularly basset hounds. She loved travelling with her husband and visiting new places.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 42 years, Alan Dale Stanley. Barbara is survived by brother-in-law, Tibby E. Stanley and wife Judy; niece, Dawn Stevens and husband Toby; nephew, Matt Stanley and wife Landra; 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew; as well as very special friends, Maggie, Alicia, and Leo.
Interment will take place on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM in Lawnhaven Memorial Park, San Angelo, Texas.
