Barbara J. Wagner

Barbara J. Wagner, 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Barbara was born September 5, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas to Hazel Evers and Fred P. Burger. She loved her city, living most of her life in San Antonio, graduating from Brackenridge High School in 1942. She loved her church, worshiping and serving with her family at Concordia for 49 years. She loved her family, celebrating 62 years of marriage to William G. Wagner.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son, Stephen Alan Wagner (Rita); daughters, Sandra Lynn Wagner and Susan Marie Haley (David); grandchildren, Leah Wagner, Lance Wagner (Jodi), Jennifer Pinkerton (Scott), Betsy Post (Steven), and Angie Carter (Chris); 6 great grandchildren, 3 foster great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Concordia Lutheran Church.
