Barney B. Roeder

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Barney was the son of Benjamin Roeder and Arie Priest. He served in the US Navy and was a WWII veteran, and worked for Southwestern Bell for almost 40 years. He was a longstanding member of the Masonic Lodge 1079.

Barney is survived by his nephew, Bernie Rogers (wife MaryLou) of Arizona; son, Ron Linder (wife Callie); daughter-in-law, Joyce Linder; grandchildren, Robert Linder, Amber Hilsher, Julie Linder, Bonnie Linder, Becky Linder; great-grandchildren, Sylissa Linder, Skyler Linder, Isabel Delfin, and Brianne Delfin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home with the Graveside Service to be at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.

Brookdale Champions, Assisted Living Community in Houston, TX was his last residence. Thank you Brookdale for your patience, diligence, and endurance. Your staff was professional and kind to him from beginning to end. Our family is very grateful for your love and support.
