He was born November 7, 1939 in Longmont, CO.
He graduated from Cristobal High School, Canal Zone; Wake Forest University, and Florida State University where he received a Masters in Microbiology.
He married Shirley Schroeder on March 5, 1976. Barry was a member and actively supported the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Edward Davison and wife Monique of Austin, Michael Davison and wife Nancy of Chicago, IL, Jennifer Parker and husband Chris of Selma, and Matthew Davison of San Antonio; grandchildren, Emily and Ashley Davison of Chicago; parents, Norman and Vera Davison of Lehigh Acres, FL; sister, Marvel Townsend and husband Frank of Gainesville, FL; niece, Joyce Siegele of Atlanta, GA; and nephew, Chad Townsend of Arlington, VA.
