He was born April 20, 1954, in Abbington, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Florentine Moore. He was a 15 year resident of San Antonio. Barry served his country honorably for 30 years in the U.S. Army. His assignments included tours in Germany and Iraq. Decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. He retired from the Army Dental Corps as Chief, Department of Dental Science, Academy of Health Sciences, Army Medical Department Center and School, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nanette; daughter, Danielle Moore and husband Russell Aplin; son, Ryan Moore, and brothers, Craig Moore and Sam Moore.
