Beatrice A. Cavazos was born on June 13, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas, to Aurelio A. Ayala and Beatrice Rodriguez. On August 4, 2026, she entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and love.
Beatrice devoted her career to education, a profession she cherished deeply. As a teacher, she touched the lives of countless students with her kindness, patience, and passion for learning. She took great pride in being the first person in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree, an accomplishment that reflected her determination and served as an inspiration to those who knew her.
Outside of the classroom, Beatrice found joy in arts and crafts, tending to her garden, and spending time at the casino. Las Vegas held a special place in her heart and was her favorite destination, where she enjoyed making cherished memories with family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, Pedro Perales III and his wife, Abby Perales and Angel Perales; her cousin, Sylvia Velasquez; her sister-in-law, Maria O. Cavazos; and her cousin, Beatrice Cavazos, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Beatrice was welcomed into eternal peace by her beloved husband, Alfredo Cavazos Jr.; her parents, Aurelio A. Ayala and Beatrice R. Ayala; and all those who preceded her in death.
Though she will be deeply missed, Beatrice’s warmth, strength, dedication to education, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
