

She was preceded in death by her husband Aurelio (Wally) Constantino, parents Edmond Sr. and Nicanora Van Brandt, brother Phillip Van Brandt, sister Gladys Villarreal and brother Edmond Van Brandt Jr.
She was raised in the South East side of San Antonio off Carolina Street. She was a proud graduate of Brackenridge High School.
She married her high school sweetheart Aurelio on May 28th, 1966 at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas.
After marriage, she became a homemaker and loving mother to her 3 sons. After her boys grew up, she became a bilingual educator for North East and San Antonio school districts. Her hobbies included arts & crafts with sisters Gladys and Hope, gardening, dancing, and watching her granddaughter Jiana Grace play numerous sports. Beatrice loved spending time at her sister Gladys and brother in law Ramiro's ranch in Batesville, Texas and later Devine, Texas. She loved sitting in a deer blind with her sister Gladys.
Her next love of life came when her granddaughter Jiana was born. Nona dedicated her retirement years to being the best grandmother to her only grandchild.
Beatrice always had a big smile and a vibrant personality. She cherished her family and friends and will be remembered forever by those who loved her.
She is survived by her son's, Carlos Rene, Rolando Daví, Edward Phillip, Daughter in law JoAnn, granddaughter Jiana Grace, sister Hope(Art) Tellez, cousin Linda Lamb, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend thanks to Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe Memory Care and the dedicated staff for their compassion and nurture. The family would also thank Janeth Delgado for her loving care and compassion for Beatrice. Lastly, the family would like to thank Bloom Hospice for the love and care during the last week of her life.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary starting at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at St. Gregory's the Great Catholic Church at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
