I think I knew her, and I still have her phone #1-830-612-2868. I want to make sure is her. she was a patient of Dr Lanese a dentist on 2000. I wanted to talk to her, and I was calling and calling her . I wasn’t an employee there after 2002. But she was precious, I am so sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye to her. Once I went to Medina lake with a friend and I tried to look for her house without having her address. I called back then too. She had a guy that used to help her. . I loved her so much. Aunt Bea and Uncle Ed were a special part of my life and I have difficulty expressing how much I will miss them both.  Uncle Ed was my Dad's older brother and we visited San Antonio many times since I was a small boy.  Aunt Bea had an amazing sense of humor and always made you feel special. Those trips were always an adventure, whether as a child or an adult.  I feel most lucky to have visited her in the past few years, and for her 90th birthday. Given her outlook on life, I was hoping that there would be more opportunities to visit, sharing old stories and making new ones. I would tease her that she had to live forever because I did not want to give her up. Her passing leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but the past memories and stories will always be there. We spent a lot of time in the past few years talking about Uncle Ed, my Dad and the Knight family. I loved them both as my second Mom and Dad, and I know that they are together again. God bless you Aunt Bea.

Aunt Bea, we shall miss you so very much.  I especially will miss our frequent telephone call exchanges.  I will miss your sense of humor, the funny jokes you shared, your friskyness, your directness.  For instance, the time you called and I was out.  You left the following message; "Julie, where are you?  Don't you love me anymore?  Then you said, "you don't want me to come down there, do you???"  Well, after hearing that message, I was shaking in my boots.  I immediately called Aunt Bea. (smile).  I loved your spirited personality and no-nonsense demeanor.  You always said what you meant and meant what you said!!! My husband inherited some of these traits as well.  I was truly thrilled and honored the day she said, "Julie, I want you to be my daughter, not my niece-in-law.  Will you be my daughter?  I said, yes, I would be honored to be your daughter!!!  You see, my husband Frank was Aunt Bea's nephew (Aunt Bea's sister; Marguerite, was my husband's mother).  We visted Aunt Bea in 2003,enjoying our time together, getting acquainted/reacquainted.  Aunt Bea was a strong person.  As a result, she was always there for me during my very sad days when I tried to move on,  after losing husband; Frank, on September 19, 2009.  She called often w/words of encouragement, and of course w/a new joke.  She could relate, and understood what I was going through because she had lost her love; Uncle Edward.  Aunt Bea, we can only imagine what it was like to be reunited w/Uncle Edward and other loved ones, but we know you are now at peace.  We shall miss, love you forever, and keep you in our hearts, replaying the many fond memories we have of you.  May you rest in peace.  God bless you. The Journey's Over
The Journey's over for Bea Knight.
  She lived a long life, as a strong, independent woman. She taught me how to be strong OR Tough as she put it, and she stood by me for several years, by saying. "You are a strong woman Pauline," "You can make it."
  Just when I wanted to give up on living the isolated hill country life, even to the point of having my bags packed the phone would ring, and she would say, "Pauline, You are strong, You can do this." Without her encouragement for several years, I would not have stayed in the hill country. I admire Bea, but in turn think she admired me.
Bea loved her family and friends very much, and is now in Heaven, continuing her journey with the Lord, and her beloved Edward

How can you express the great loss  that Bea's passing has created. My Husband & I will truly be lost without her humor, wisdom and leadership. May God Bless her and accept her into his loving Arms. May she be at peace as she is reunited with her true love, Edward. Our sympathies go out to the family & friends, as this is  great loss to us all.
