Beatrice Josephine Mutz Leineweber, age 70, went to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Billie Ray Leineweber on June 11, 2013. She was born on October 22, 1942, in Falls City, Texas to the late Wallace and Petronella Mutz.
Beatrice, known as Bea by many, loved to cook, garden, shop and most of all spend time with her family. She worked for Northeast ISD in the food service division for over 30 years. She retired from Eisenhower Middle School. Bea was "famous" to her family and friends for her cooking. She could whip up a meal in a matter of minutes and it was always delicious.
More than anything, though, Bea loved to spend time with her family. Family was her passion and she made every holiday a special event for all of them. Bea was a devoted wife, loving mother and wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. Bea, Mom, Granny, Great-Granny will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but the legacy of family that she has left each and every one of them will live on forever. She will forever live in our hearts.
Bea is preceded in death by her husband, Billie Ray Leineweber; her brother, Conrad Mutz; and her sister, Agatha Clemens.
She is survived by her son, Mark Leineweber and wife, Traci; daughters, Dana Causey and Ken Bielefeld, Lori Melzark and Curtis Cox, Sr.; grandchildren, Ashlee Leineweber, Ray and Wade Melzark, Justin Causey, and Curtis Cox, Jr.; great-grandson, Harley Leineweber and a great-granddaughter due in August 2013; sister, Theresa Lyssy; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank Ms. Ana who helped take care of her in the last days of her life, and also Alamo Hospice for their care and support.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
