Beatrice Mendez Martinez, 93 of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 17, 2013. Beatrice was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a great homemaker and loved gardening and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel G. Martinez, SAPD Inspector. She is survived by her children, Sylvia & Joe Gonzalez, Rose & Jim Falkenbach, and Gloria DeVolld; grandchildren, Anthony, Angela Alvarado, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Bea, Lawrence and Billy DeVolld; great-grandchildren, Ernest, Anthony, Marcos and Isabella; sister, Dora Larios; and brothers, Guadalupe, Ramiro & Richard Mendez.
