Beatrice White

Beatrice White entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2024, 25 days after celebrating her 103rd birthday. She was born in Uvalde, Texas in 1921 to Pedro and Rosa Castro. She served in the Women’s Army Corps, WWII as a dental hygienist. After the war, she married and raised her family in San Antonio. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher in the San Antonio ISD at Rodriguez Elementary and as an after-school care coordinator at St. Martin Hall School.

She loved football and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. During football season, you would find her in front of the television ready to cheer on her Cowboys. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles White, Sr. and her 6 siblings. She is survived by her children, Shirley Martinez (Jose) and Charles White, Jr. (Caroline), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
