

A lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, Beatrice dedicated many years of compassionate service as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Santa Rosa Hospital – Downtown, where she spent much of her career caring for patients in the Emergency Room. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to helping others touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her beloved twin daughters, Betty Louise and Betty Jean Guerrero, as well as her son, Larry Villareal.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her children: Joe E. Villareal Jr. (Carrie), Blanche Barrientes (Anthony), George Villareal (Mary), Louis Guerrero Jr. (Diana), and Genevieve Guerrero (Will).
To include nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. In life Beatrice was a proud grandmother of her grandchildren's accomplishment. Each of whom will carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion.
Beatrice found joy in the simple yet meaningful moments of life. She loved dancing, gardening, sewing, and opening her home to family for celebrations filled with laughter and love. Some of her happiest memories were the trips she made to Floresville, Texas, to visit her sister, Elida, and her beloved Tía Petra. She also treasured spending time with her brother, Alejandro Peña Sr. Family was always at the center of her heart.
She enjoyed traveling and created wonderful memories on vacations to Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Venezuela, experiences she often shared with those she loved.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Embrace Hospice and the caring staff at Sarah Roberts French Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided during Beatrice’s final days.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX 78201, US, on July 30, 2026, from 9:00 am, with a Rosary Service to be recited at 9:30 am, A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 am where services conclude.
