Although he lived the last five years of his life in Highland Village, TX, he had previously been a lifelong resident of San Antonio.
He was born to Mamie and Joseph Carson on November 5, l916 in San Antonio and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen McGowan Carson, brothers: Anthony and David, and sister, Virginia. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Jim Walters of Highland Village, TX; his son and daughter-in-law, Hal and Cheryl Carson of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Andrew Walters and wife, Jody of Newnan, Georgia; Jennifer Baker and husband, Heath of Highland Village; and great grandchildren, Hunter McCall of Highland Village and Eric Walters of Newnan.
He will be greatly missed.
