Benjamin Frederick Walker, age 73, passed away on May 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Alfreida “Bobbie” Walker, his beloved Aunt Genevieve Necker, and brother Robert Walker. He is survived by his brother David, and children Christian, Thaddeus, and Jillian, and granddaughter Claire Noelle.
After graduating from Baylor Law School, he lived in San Francisco, across from Francis Ford Coppola he would always note, and studied at Cal Berkeley before returning to Texas to serve in District Attorney Henry Wade’s office in Dallas. In the late 1970’s he relocated back to his hometown to enter private practice. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his large and extended family, reading and writing about Texas history, and he will be remembered for his sharp wit, warm sense of humor, and remarkable intelligence.
A Rosary and Mass, followed by a Celebration of life in his and his brother’s memory is planned for Saturday, August 7, 2021.
