Bernard Dave Cohen

We note in sadness the passing of Bernard Dave Cohen. Predeceased by Father, Sam Cohen Holocaust Survivor. Survived by Son, Ethan Cohen whom he shared with Dawn Smith (Ethan’s Mother); Mother, Micheline Cohen; Brother, Philip Cohen and Jerome (Tammy) Cohen; Nieces, Samantha Dykes, Madison and Emma Cohen; Nephews, Josh, Noble, Brett (Erica), Ryan (Randi), the next generation Archer, Shai and Theo.

Bernard Cohen was a simple caring man. He never needed much living a minimalistic lifestyle always giving to others. Bernard dedicated his life to his son Ethan Cohen who he loved so dearly. Graduated University of Texas in 1977. After graduation he opened a successful western wear business called Boot Hill where he retailed cowboy boots, hats, and clothing. Bernard will forever hold a place in his entire family’s hearts and is missed everyday of every moment so dearly.

Private graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Agudas Achim Memorial Garden on Austin Highway.
