Bernard Phillip Harris

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Greenfield Harris and Benjamin Frank Harris, and devoted wife of 68 years Jean Pollock Harris. Bernard is survived by his daughter Linda R. Harris; his son Jack P. Harris; and his cherished grandchildren, Courtney Padove and Joshua Padove.

Bernard had a storied career as an architect but was most proud of his work behind-the-scenes as a father and a grandfather. In addition, he served on the board of San Antonio Food Bank and as a former President of Temple Beth-El. Bernard will be remembered by the community for his humor, his kindness, his positivity, and his service to others.

May his memory be a blessing to all who love and knew him. A memorial service will be held on September 24, 2026, at 2:30pm at Temple Beth-El at 211 Belknap Pl. A private burial will be held at the Beth-El Palmetto cemetery.
