

Bernardo M. Saucedo Sr. born August 20, 1933 in San Antonio Texas passed away quietly in his sleep after a bout with cancer and entered the kingdom of Heaven on December 5, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Ramona Saucedo and his sister Tomasa Pacheco of Blanco Texas. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Adelina Saucedo, his children Bernardo Saucedo Jr (Maria), Gilbert Saucedo (Lucy), Delia Diaz, David Saucedo (Brenda), Sylvia Monzon (Mario), Christina Mikes (Les), sister Isabel Velez (Lorenzo) and Steven Webster, honorary son; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends. He was born and raised at Espada Mission. He attended and graduated from Southside Highschool in 1954. He joined the Army and was Honorably discharged in 1956. In 1957 he met his wife Adelina and they were married for 59 years. After retiring from Swift Independent Co., he became a crossing guard, a job he truly loved and continued until 2015 when he was diagnosed with cancer. We would love to thank all those at the Oncology Center (Dr. Vemulapalli) and staff, Freedom Hospice and our many family and friends for their prayers and thoughtfulness.
