Bernardo S. Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 90. He was born September 29, 1929, in Pearsall, Texas, to Tiburcio and Alamar Trevino. He was an Army Veteran who served in Korea. After returning home, he spent his free time coaching soccer and baseball on the city’s Southside for Our Lady Of The Angels CYO. He enjoyed fishing with his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Bernardo was preceded in death by his wife, Maria C. Trevino; parents: Tiburcio and Alamar; two sisters: Alicia Trevino and Francisca Caunder; and brothers: Manuel, Roberto, and Victor Trevino.
Bernardo is survived by his daughter, Anna Escarciga (Raul) and son Eloy C. Trevino (Mary); Grandchildren: Luannie T. Mason (Thomas), Malorey Trevino, Glori Beaugard (Deonte), Sean Escarciga, Martin Gil (Jessica), Michael Gil (Naomi), and Michael Robson (Anna Marie); and Great grandchildren: Nathaniel T. Mason, Madelyn Gil, Makayla and Annalise Robson.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the caregivers, physicians, and nurses who took part in his care. The family is eternally grateful to you.
