Bernice S. Anderson

Bernice S. Anderson, age 96, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Bernice was born on March 5, 1921 in Schertz, TX to Otto and Hilda Seiler. Bernice moved to Corpus Christi in 1955 with her family and made Corpus Christi her home.

She met the love of her life, Charles W. Anderson, in Schertz, TX and they married on August 4, 1938 and spent 58 wonderful years together. Bernice's main goal in life was to care for her family and to provide them a loving, happy home. Bernice was known for her great sense of humor, love of family gatherings, strong spirit, and sharp mind.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Hilda Seiler, her beloved husband Charles W. Anderson, her brothers Alfonz Seiler and Malford Seiler, and her sister, Gladys Jones. She is survived by her three children; her son Claude Anderson of Corpus Christi, her daughter Marilyn Milam of Corpus Christi, her son Dennis Anderson (Teresa) of Amarillo, TX; her three grandchildren, Brent Milam (Lara) of Houston, TX, Dustin Anderson of Woodland Park, CO, and David Anderson of Amarillo, TX; her two great-grandchildren Dylan Michelle Milam, Brooks Milam of Houston, TX, David Maxwell Anderson and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM with interment at 1:00 PM on March 27, 2017.
